Acer Windows Mixed Reality Headset


This is my new favorite thing!! The best part is that I picked it up for $215.00 on Amazon.com
So if you were always interested in VR, but didn't think that you could afford it then this is your chance.
To support this you do need to have a laptop or PC that meets certain minimum requirements.

The minimum system requirement are:

Graphics Card Integrated Intel® HD Graphics 620 (or greater) DX12-capable integrated GPU (check if your model is greater)

GPU must be hosted in a PCIe 3.0 x4+ Link slot
Graphics Driver Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) 2.2
Graphics display port HDMI 1.4 or DisplayPort 1.2

I bought a Acer Predator
Buying something brand new that has a sticker that states that it is Windows Mixed Reality ready makes it a bit of a no brainer.   There are less expensive desktop options.

I needed to see for myself.   I really like the fact that you can create a custom data base to be used throughout the website.   I like the shopping cart. I surprised to find out, after signing up to be a Premium member that many of the add on apps in the app store cost extra. This was disappointing because the shopping app by itself only accepts 2 forms of payment, Paypal and Square.
